Oyesola Olufemi Animashaun is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, (KWASU) Malete-Ilorin, Nigeria. He was educated at the Universities of Ibadan, Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo, Ile Ife, Ogun State (now Olabisi Onabanjo), Ago Iwoye; Lagos State University Ojo; University of Ilorin and the Nigerian Law School, where he was awarded B.Sc. (Geography), MBA, M.Sc. (Industrial Relations and Personnel Management), LLB, LLM, PhD and BL respectively.
He is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He is a member of many professional bodies, including the Institute of Leadership, Coaching & Strategy (ILCS), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
He has also acquired many years’ experience in management, teaching, research, consulting and legal practice. He was an Asst. General Manager at the Wiggin Teape Nig. Plc. and the Nigerian Telecommunications Ltd. / Nigerian Mobile Telecommunications Ltd. (NITEL/ Mtel).
He is a fellow and grant recipient at institutions such as the North West University, Mafikeng, South Africa, University of Limpopo, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
Further, he is the editor-in-chief of the KWASU Business and Private Law Journal, the editor of the Nigerian Tax Notes, KWASU Law Journal and a member of the editorial board of the Nigerian Journal of Labour Law and Industrial Relations, among others.
