DR. ADETOKUNBO A. FAYOKUN is a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional of note. An Educationist per-excellence, seasoned Administrator, and Leadership Coach/Trainer. A former Banker, an Entrepreneur and a member of a State Executive Council. Her career has been quite interesting spanning over decades with wide experience both in the Public and Private sectors including the banking industry.

She is an esteemed and well-read graduate who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, with Specialization in English Language/Literature, a Postgraduate Diploma Degree in Economics and a Master of Science Degree in Economics, all from the University of Lagos Nigeria. Adetokunbo has a Honorary degree of Doctor of Counseling (Honoris Causa) from the United States of America (USA) and most recently acquired a John Maxwell International Certification in Consulting, Public Speaking, Training and Coaching from Florida, USA (August 2019).

Adetokunbo worked in the Banking sector for over 18 years where she held several crucial management positions amongst which are Regional Manager of Retail Banking, Business Development Manager, and Head of Banking operations. She had a robust career in various departments of banking such as Business Development, Investment Banking, Branch Management, Corporate Banking, Credit and Marketing, Consumer and Retail Banking, Internal control and so on. She worked for different well-known banks such as Skye Bank PLC, Chartered Bank PLC, Prudent Bank PLC and All States Trust Bank Ltd.

She is an accomplished educationist and entrepreneur and the founder and Executive/ Education Director at Laurel-Edge school, and on the Board of two other schools. She is the Executive  Director  of Parenmark Consulting and a volunteering partner of Concerned Parents and educators of Nigeria (CPE).

She had the distinct privilege of serving as the Oyo State Honorable Commissioner for Education and member of the Oyo state executive council. She was also a very prominent member of the Oyo State Socio-Economic Management Team (OSSEMAT).

During her tenure as the Oyo State Honorable Commissioner for Education, Adetokunbo successfully initiated and implemented great reforms with several outstanding turn around legacy achievements during her tenure through many overhaul strategic initiatives that change the performance trajectory of both private and public schools in Oyo State.

Adetokunbo is a faculty member of the Ilaji Resorts, Hotels and Stadium Ibadan.

She is happily married with successful children in diverse professions and sectors across the globe
